3 ARRESTED AFTER FIGHT IN CONWAY

CONWAY POLICE CALLED IN ADDITIONAL OFFICERS TO HELP DEAL WITH AN INCIDENT IN CONWAY SUNDAY NIGHT AFTER A CALLER REPORTED A FIGHT HAD BROKEN OUT ON ROUTE 16.

LT. CHRIS PERLEY SAYS SHORTLY AFTER 7:45 P.M. TWO CALLS CAME IN NEARLY SIMULTANEOUSLY – THE FIRST FROM A FEMALE REPORTING A FIGHT HAD BROKEN OUT AT A HOUSE NEAR JONATHAN’S SEAFOOD AND THAT HER BOYFRIEND HAD BEEN ATTACKED – AND THE SECOND, A CALL FROM MEMORIAL HOSPITAL IN NORTH CONWAY THAT A PATIENT IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM THERE WAS BEING TREATED FOR A STAB WOUND TO ABDOMEN.

PERLEY SAYS OFFICERS AND DETECTIVES RESPONDED TO BOTH LOCATIONS AND DETERMINED THAT 20-YEAR-OLD CODY PARMENTER OF KIDS CORNER IN FRYEBURG, MAINE WAS THE STABBING VICTIM.

PERLEY SAYS THREE PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH THE INCIDENT, INCLUDING THE ALLEGED VICTIM’S MOTHER, 44-YEAR-OLD KAREN BRYAN OF SOUTH CHATHAM RD., FRYEBURG, WHO IS CHARGED WITH BEING AN ACCOMPLICE; BRYAN’S 21-YEAR-OLD SON BRIAN K. PARMENTER JR. OF KIDS CORNER FRYEBURG, WHO IS CHARGED WITH RIOT; AND 20-YEAR-OLD TASHA L. CROTTY OF WHITE MOUNTAIN HWY. IN CONWAY, WHO IS CHARGED WITH STABBING.
IT’S NOT IMMEDIATELY CLEAR WHAT CROTTY’S RELATIONSHIP IS TO THE OTHERS.

CODY PARMENTER UNDERWENT EMERGENCY SURGERY AT MEMORIAL HOSPITAL AND WAS LISTED IN STABLE CONDITION THERE MONDAY.

DURING A COURT HEARING IN CONWAY DISTRICT COURT MONDAY, A JUDGE FOUND PROBABLE CAUSE AGAINST THE THREE DEFENDANTS AND SET BAIL FOR CROTTY AT $,7500 CASH, BRYAN AT $5,000 CASH AND BRIAN K. PARMENTER JR. AT $10,000 CASH.
