3 Arrested In Wakefield As A Part Of Operation Granite Hammer

Wakefield, NH – Wakefield police have made their first arrests as a part of Operation Granite Hammer. Authorities say they arrested 30-year-old Tyler smith and 31-year-old Francesca Wright both of Cornish, and 27-year-old Derkik Barrett of Wakefield as a part of a their efforts to curb drug trafficking and use.

The arrests came during the first week that the Wakefield Police Department was a part of the grant program that seeks to help law enforcement tackle the ongoing drug epidemic.

During the arrests police seized heroin, cocaine, marijuana, and more than $5,000 in cash. All three face possession of controlled narcotic drug charges.

Wright faces additional charges including driving without a valid license and had two bench warrants out of the Conway district court for theft and operating without a valid license.
