ALBANY MAN HOSPITALIZED AFTER CUTTING ARM

CONWAY FIRE CHIEF STEVE SOLOMON SAYS AN ALBANY MAN WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL WEDNESDAY MORNING AFTER CUTTING HIS ARM WITH A CHAIN SAW.

CONWAY FIRE AND RESCUE RESPONDED TO THE SCENE AT 50 BROOKSIDE ROAD SHORTLY AFTER 10:45 A.M.

SOLOMON SAYS THE VICTIM – REPORTED TO BE A 19-YEAR-OLD MAN – WAS USING THE SAW TO CUT UP WOOD FOR A FIRE PIT WHEN THE SAW KICKED BACK AND CUT HIS RIGHT FOREARM.

SOLOMON DESCRIBES THE MAN’S INJURY AS NON LIFE THREATENING.

THE VICTIM WAS TAKEN TO MEMORIAL HOSPITAL IN NORTH CONWAY.
