AN OFFICER WITH THE CARROLL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE SAYS A HIGH SCHOOL AGE BOY SURRENDERED PEACEFULLY TO POLICE LATE TUESDAY MORNING, ENDING A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS SITUATION IN ALBANY.

LT. MIKE SANTUCCIO SAYS DEPUTIES, MADISON POLICE, NEW HAMPSHIRE STATE POLICE, CONWAY POLICE AND CONWAY AMBULANCE RESPONDED AROUND 11:15 A.M. TUESDAY TO A HOUSE ON TABOR CIRCLE OFF ROUTE 16 JUST SOUTH OF CONWAY AFTER GETTING A REPORT A JUVENILE THERE HAD A GUN.

SHERIFF’S OFFICE CPL. BRITTANY PERLEY ESTABLISHED COMMAND AT THE SCENE AND POLICE WERE EVENTUALLY ABLE TO TALK TO THE BOY INSIDE THE HOUSE.

THEY DETERMINED HE DID NOT HAVE A GUN BUT WAS JUST HAVING “A BAD DAY.”
