by Christian Mower on July 13, 2012

THE PROJECT MANAGER FOR THE MOUNT WASHINGTON VALLEY HOUSING COALITION SAYS APPLICATIONS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED FOR CONWAY PINES, AN AFFORDABLE RENTAL COMPLEX BEING BUILT ON ROUTE 16 IN CONWAY.

THERESA KENNETT SAYS THERE ARE ONLY 32 APARTMENTS, WHICH MEANS THE COMPLEX WILL FILL UP QUICKLY. THE MAJORITY OF THE APARTMENTS ARE 2-BEDROOM AND THERE ARE SOME 1- AND 3-BEDROOM UNITS AS WELL.

KENNETT SAYS CONWAY PINES IS THE FIRST AFFORDABLE RENTAL COMPLEX IN THE VALLEY, WITH REASONABLE RENTAL RATES THAT INCLUDE HOT WATER AND HEAT. RENTAL ASSISTANCE IS ALSO AVAILABLE FOR THOSE WHO NEED IT.

MONTHLY RENTAL RATES RANGE FROM ABOUT $700 FOR A 1-BEDROOM APARTMENT TO NEARLY $900 FOR A 3-BEDROOM UNIT. ON SITE PARKING IS ALSO AVAILABLE.

APPLICATIONS ARE BEING TAKEN BY STEWART PROPERTY MANAGEMENT.

TO APPLY OR GET MORE INFORMATION, SEE THE WEBSITE AT www.stewartproperty.net OR CALL (603) 641-2163.

KENNETT SAYS THE APARTMENT COMPLEX WILL BE READY FOR OCCUPANCY IN OCTOBER.

HER COALITION WORKS TO PROVIDE AFFORDABLE HOUSING OPTIONS FOR PEOPLE WHO WORK IN THE VALLEY AREA SO THEY CAN AFFORD TO RENT AND LIVE NEAR WHERE THEY WORK.
