Around 500 Valley Residents March For Women In Jackson

JACKSON, NH – Several hundred people attended a Women’s Marches in the Mount Washington Valley this weekend.

The marches marked the 2nd anniversary of the march last year after President Trump’s inauguration.

Around 500 women, men, children, and dogs marched in Jackson yesterday, nearly doubling the amount that marched last year. Marchers filled the streets as they traveled from the Jackson Covered Bridge to the Grammar School.

There were also several marchers in Tamworth as well, including many who marched in Tamworth then hopped over to march in Jackson.

The Marches coincided with hundreds of marches across the country on both Saturday and Sunday, which attracted millions of participants.
