Bartlett, NH – Bartlett Police are on the look out for a Burglary Suspect who allegedly helped steal $65,000 in Cash from a local home. Bartlett Police say that between last Thursday December 3rd and Friday December 4th 26-year-old Daniel Lennon and 25 year old Jodi Zangari allegedly stole the money from a small safe located in the attic of a house in Bartlett Village. The owner of the house was on vacation and a house sitter had allowed the two suspects to stay there alone.
Police located and arrested Zangari at the White Trellis Motel in North Conway, where the two were reportedly staying. She was charged with Felony theft and a misdemeanor for allegedly stealing a jacket from the same victim. Police executed a search warrant of their motel room Sunday night and seized about $3,000 in cash, coins believed to be taken from the home, and drug paraphernalia. According to the Conway Daily Sun Zangari is being held on $10,000 cash or bond. The judge also ordered a source of funds hearing for any bail money she puts up to ensure she is not using ill-gotten gains to make bail.
Lennon is still on the run and police are looking for any help in locating the suspect. He is described as a white male, 6’1” tall and approximately 180 pounds. If you have any information about the whereabouts of Lennon call the Bartlett Police at (603) 356-5868.
