The Mount Washington Valley Bicycling Club holds its 6th annual Kid’s Bike Safety Day at Storyland in Glen Saturday starting at 10 a.m. Rain date is Sunday May 11, 2014.

The event is free and open to kids from 5 to 11 who can ride a bicycle. The course consists of seven safety stations on the roads and walkways of StoryLand.

Riders will have their helmets properly fitted, bikes inspected – and free helmets will be offered to those who need them.

Participating kids and their families will be offered a free lunch and goodie bags to take home. Proper footwear is required – no sandals, flip flops or UGG boots.

The bicycling club is a non-profit charitable organization. Its mission is to promote youth cycling and bicycle safety.
