CONWAY DAILY SUN ON BACHMANN’S N. CONWAY VISIT

by Christian Mower on October 11, 2011

THE CONWAY DAILY SUN SAYS MINNESOTA REP. AND REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE MICHELLE BACHMANN RAILED AGAINST PRESIDENT OBAMA AND THE REST OF WASHINGTON SUNDAY AT A TOWN HALL MEETING AT A NORTH CONWAY RESTAURANT.

THE SUN SAYS BACHMANN REMARKED AT THE LOBSTER TRAP RESTAURANT ON WEST SIDE ROAD THAT “WE ALL KNOW THE GOVERNMENT IS SPENDING WAY TOO MUCH MONEY – WHAT WASHINGTON IS DOING RIGHT NOW IS DESTROYING OUR COUNTRY.”

THE SUN SAYS THE RESTAURANT’S DINING ROOM WAS PACKED, WITH TV CAMERAS LINING THE BACK WALL – AND A HALF DOZEN PEOPLE ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT ISSUES FROM IMMIGRATION TO SOCIAL SECURITY.

BACHMANN TOOK AIM AT OBAMA’S HEALTHCARE REFORM LAW – THE SUN SAYS – CALLING IT “UNCONSTITUTIONAL” AND “DICTATORIAL” AND “THE PLAYGROUND OF THE RADICAL LEFT.”

THE SUN SAYS THE CANDIDATE THEN MADE AN APPEARANCE AT ZEB’S COUNTRY STORE AND SHE WAS THEN SCHEDULED TO MAKE AN APPEARANCE IN MOULTONBOROUGH.
