CONWAY JOB FAIR ORGANIZERS HOPE FOR LARGE TURNOUT

ORGANIZERS HOPE FOR A LARGE TURNOUT FRIDAY AT THE MOUNT WASHINGTON VALLEY JOB AND RESOURCE FAIR.

THE FREE EVENT BEGINS AT 10 A.M. AND RUNS UNTIL 2 P.M.AT GRANITE STATE COLLEGE IN THE CONWAY TECHNOLOGY VILLAGE, 53 TECHNOLOGY LANE OFF ROUTE 16 IN CONWAY.

NEW HAMPSHIRE EMPLOYMENT SECURITY IS PARTNERING WITH THE COLLEGE TO HOST THE EVENT.

JANE RYAN – EMPLOYER SERVICE REP. AT THE CONWAY OFFICE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE EMPLOYMENT SECURITY – SAYS MORE THAN 40 EMPLOYERS AND COMMUNITY RESOURCE PROGRAMS WILL ATTEND.

RYAN RECOMMENDS PROSPECTIVE JOB SEEKERS BRING SEVERAL COPIES OF THEIR RESUME AND DRESS APPROPRIATELY TO MEET – AND POSSIBLY INTERVIEW – WITH POTENTIAL EMPLOYERS.

SHE SAYS THERE A NUMBER OF JOBS THAT NEED TO BE FILLED, SOME SEASONAL – MANY IN RETAIL POSITIONS AND SOME WITH THE NEW FEDERAL PRISON IN BERLIN.

INFORMATION ABOUT VETERAN’S SERVICES, TRAINING PROGRAMS, COLLEGES, OLDER WORKER PROGRAMS, SMALL BUSINESSES AND HUMAN SERVICES ORGANIZATIONS WILL ALSO BE AVAILABLE.
