CONWAY’S 25-YEAR-OLD OLYMPIAN HAS ONCE AGAIN BEEN NAMED TO THE “A TEAM” OF THE U.S. ALPINE SKI TEAM.

LEANNE SMITH AND OLYMPIC GOLD MEDALIST BODE MILLER OF FRANCONIA WERE INTRODUCED FRIDAY AS TWO OF 54 MEMBERS OF THE ENTIRE 2014 TEAM IN COPPER MOUNTAIN, COLORADO IN FRONT OF A CHEERING CROWD OF THOUSANDS.

THE TEAM HAS BEEN TRAINING AT COPPER MOUNTAIN. IT’S COMING OFF A RECORD SEASON OF FIVE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MEDALS AND 33 WORLD CUP PODIUMS FROM 10 DIFFERENT ATHLETES, INCLUDING 18 WINS.

SMITH’S TEAMMATE OLYMPIC GOLD MEDALIST LINDSEY VONN SAYS “THIS IS A REALLY COOL TIME TO BE PART OF THE U.S. SKI TEAM. WE HAVE SUCH A GREAT TEAM DYNAMIC, BETTER THAN I’VE EVER SEEN – AND IT’S SHOWING IN OUR RESULTS. EVERY RACE WE HAVE AN ATHLETE WHO CAN WIN.”
