CONWAY POLICE ARREST TWO AFTER STABBING

CONWAY POLICE SAY TWO PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED AND CHARGED IN CONNECTION WITH A STABBING INCIDENT EARLY FRIDAY MORNING AT A MOTEL IN CONWAY.

SGT. GEORGE WALKER SAYS OFFICERS WERE CALLED TO THE WHITE DEER MOTEL ON ROUTE 16 SHORTLY AFTER 1:30 A.M. AND ON ARRIVAL DISCOVERED A RESIDENT THERE HAD BEEN STABBED.

WALKER BELIEVES EVERYONE INVOLVED WAS UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL

THE UNIDENTIFIED MALE VICTIM WAS TAKEN TO MEMORIAL HOSPITAL FOR TREATMENT OF A MINOR STAB WOUND TO HIS UPPER BACK.

POLICE ARRESTED 17-YEAR-OLD CASEY BARTHOLOMEW-FULLER OF COWPER ROAD IN WOLFEBORO. SHE’S ACCUSED OF STABBING THE VICTIM AND IS CHARGED WITH FIRST DEGREE ASSAULT AND FALSIFYING PHYSICAL EVIDENCE.

AN 18-YEAR-OLD MAN WHO WAS WITH BARTHOLOMEW-FULLER – IDENTIFIED AS TYLER DIAS OF CAROL ANN WAY IN NORTH CONWAY – WAS ALSO ARRESTED AND IS CHARGED WITH SIMPLE ASSAULT.

BARTHOLOMEW-FULLER WAS ARRAIGNED AND WAS INITIALLY HELD ON $500 CASH BAIL. DIAS WAS GIVEN PERSONAL RECOGNIZANCE BAIL.

POLICE CONTINUE TO INVESTIGATE THE INCIDENT.
