CONWAY OLYMPIAN LEANNE SMITH HAS ONCE AGAIN BEEN NAMED TO THE WOMEN’S “A” TEAM OF THE U.S. ALPINE SKI TEAM.

THE 24-YEAR-OLD FORMER MEMBER OF THE MOUNT WASHINGTON VALLEY SKI TEAM WAS NAMED AS A MEMBER OF THE 2013 TEAM THURSDAY.

35-YEAR-OLD BODE MILLER OF FRANCONIA – AN OLYMPIC GOLD MEDALIST – WAS NAMED TO THE MEN’S “A” TEAM.

22-YEAR-OLD JULIA FORD OF PLYMOUTH, NEW HAMPSHIRE – A FORMER MEMBER OF THE HOLDERNESS SKI TEAM – WAS NAMED TO THE WOMEN’S “B” TEAM.

THE ANNOUNCEMENTS WERE MADE DURING A FAN CELEBRATION KICKING OFF THE HISTORIC 50TH SEASON OF SKIING IN VAIL, COLO.

THE ATHLETES HAVE BEEN TRAINING IN COLORADO SINCE LATE OCTOBER.

THE WORLD CUP SEASON CONTINUES IN COLORADO WITH THE NATURE VALLEY ASPEN WINTERNATIONAL NOV. 24-25 AND THE AUDI BIRDS OF PREY RACES NOV. 30 – DEC. 2 IN BEAVER CREEK.
