CRAWFORD TO GET COUNCIL AWARD

THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE MOUNT WASHINGTON VALLEY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IS BEING GIVEN THE ANNUAL BOB MORRELL AWARD.

JANICE CRAWFORD WILL BE HONORED WITH THE AWARD THURSDAY EVENING IN NORTH CONWAY AT THE ANNUAL MEETING AND DINNER OF THE MOUNT WASHINGTON VALLEY ECONOMIC COUNCIL.

THE AWARD IS GIVEN BY THE COUNCIL EACH YEAR TO RECOGNIZE THE QUALITIES AND VALUES BOB MORRELL – THE FOUNDER OF STORY LAND AND HERITAGE NEW HAMPSHIRE IN GLEN – EXEMPLIFIED AS A BUSINESS AND COMMUNITY LEADER.

COUNCIL EXEC. DIRECTOR JAC CUDDY SAYS CRAWFORD “EMBODIES THE VERY ESSENCE OF ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT, HARD WORK, DEDICATION AND FOLLOW-THROUGH TO MAKE THINGS HAPPEN.

HER LEADERSHIP HAS HAD A MAJOR IMPACT ON TOURISM IN THE VALLEY. HER LOVE OF COMMUNITY AND SEEING BUSINESSES SUCCEED HAS BEEN THE DRIVING FORCE TO ONE OF THE STATE’S MOST RESPECTED CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE.”
