by Christian Mower on November 1, 2012

THE HEAD OF THE LONGEST OPERATING CAR DEALERSHIP IN THE MOUNT WASHINGTON VALLEY HAS BEEN NOMINATED AS DEALER OF THE YEAR.

TIME MAGAZINE ANNOUNCED IN OCTOBER THAT WILLIAM WEISS, JR. – OWNER OF CREST AUTO WORLD – A CHEVROLET, CHRYSLER, DODGE, JEEP AND RAM DEALER IN NORTH CONWAY – IS ONE OF A SELECT GROUP OF 57 NOMINEES FROM ACROSS THE COUNTRY.

WEISS – WHO IS BEING RECOGNIZED AS ONE OF THE COUNTRY’S MOST SUCCESSFUL AUTO DEALERS AND HIS LONGSTANDING COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY SERVICE – WILL REPRESENT THE NEW HAMPSHIRE AUTOMOBILE DEALERS ASSOC. IN THE NATIONAL COMPETITION.

A DEALER SINCE 1976, WEISS SAYS IT’S AN HONOR TO BE NOMINATED. HE SAYS WANTS HIS CUSTOMERS TO FEEL THEY’RE COMING IN TO A FRIENDLY PLACE WHERE HIS EMPLOYEES ARE READY TO SERVE THEM AND PUT THEM AT EASE ABOUT THE MAJOR EXPENSE OF BUYING A VEHICLE.

WEISS USED TO WORK WITH HIS BROTHER BOB, WHO HAS SINCE RETIRED. NOW HE RELIES ON HIS SON CHRIS – AS A PARTNER AND GENERAL MANAGER – WHO IS HELPING TO EXPAND THE BUSINESS FOR THE FUTURE.

WEISS SUPPORTS VALLEY ORGANIZATIONS THROUGH DONATIONS AND HE HAS SUPPLIED CARS AND TRUCKS FOR PRIZES AT CHARITY EVENTS. HE ALSO OFFERS SPACE AT HIS DEALERSHIP FOR RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVES.

HE WILL BE HONORED IN FEB. 2013 AT THE 96TH ANNUAL NATIONAL AUTOMOBILE DEALERS ASSOC. CONVENTION AND EXPOSITION IN ORLANDO.
