CULVERT WORK IN FRYEBURG, MAINE

THE MAINE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SAYS DAYTIME CULVERT REPLACEMENT WORK WILL TAKE PLACE TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY ON A STRETCH OF ROUTE 113 IN FRYEBURG.

TED TALBOT SAYS ABOUT 500 FEET OF ROUTE 113 ABOUT 2,000 FEET SOUTH OF CORN SHOP ROAD WILL BE CLOSED TO THROUGH TRAFFIC FROM 7 A.M. TO 4 P.M. EACH DAY.

THE ROAD WILL RE-OPEN EACH DAY AFTER 4 P.M.

ROUTE 113 WILL BE CLOSED SOUTHBOUND AT FISH STREET TO ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC. COMMUTERS WILL BE DIRECTED TO USE FISH STREET TO CONNECT TO ROUTE 5 TO ROUTE 302, THEN WESTERLY BACK TO ROUTE 113.

TRAFFIC COMING FROM CONWAY ALONG EAST CONWAY ROAD WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CONTINUE NORTH ON ROUTE 113 AT THE STATE LINE, BUT WILL BE DIVERTED TO ROUTE 113 SOUTH TO ROUTE 302, THEN EASTERLY TO ROUTE 5 NORTH, THEN TO FISH STREET AND BACK TO ROUTE 113.
