Cumberland County Sheriff’s Searching For High Speed Chase Suspect

Casco, M.E. – The Cumberland County Sheriff’s department is looking for help in locating a suspect who lead them on a high speed chase yesterday. Authorities said that a deputy attempted to stop a truck that was driving erratically on Route 11, Casco road in Naples at around 11:40 pm.

The driver failed to stop and lead the deputy on a chase that reached speeds of up to 100 mph though Casco and into Ottisfield. The pursuit ultimately ended when the suspect took the vehicle off road and a fair distance into the woods.

The truck was later located but the driver has not been identified as of yet. The investigation continues at this time. The truck is described as a 1999 white dodge ram with a dark colored hood and loud exhaust.
