FIRE AT RESORT PROPERTY IN JACKSON

A DISPATCHER WITH THE CONWAY POLICE DEPARTMENT SAYS CONWAY FIRE DEPARTMENTS – INCLUDING CONWAY, NORTH CONWAY, REDSTONE AND CENTER CONWAY – WERE WITH OTHER FIREFIGHTERS IN JACKSON MONDAY MORNING FIGHTING A FIRE AT A LUXURY RESORT.

FIREFIGHTERS WERE REPORTEDLY CALLED OUT SHORTLY AFTER 9:15 P.M. SUNDAY TO THE NESTLENOOK FARM ON DINSMORE RD. IN JACKSON – AND WERE STILL AT THE SCENE MONDAY MORNING.

THE RESORT’S WEBSITE SAYS THE NESTLENOOK IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED DURING AN EXTENSIVE RECONSTRUCTION PERIOD AND ASKS READERS TO “LOOK FOR US TO RE-OPEN WITH A NEW LOOK, A NEW NAME AND NEW MANAGEMENT.”

IT’S BELIEVED FIREFIGHTERS FROM BARTLETT, FREEDOM, MADISON AND CENTER OSSIPEE ARE ALSO ASSISTING.
