AS PART OF A WEEKLONG CAMPAIGN AROUND NEW HAMPSHIRE TO HIGHLIGHT WHAT HIS CAMPAIGN SAYS IS PRESIDENT OBAMA’S COMMITMENT TO SMALL BUSINESSES, FORMER OHIO GOVERNOR TED STRICKLAND PLANNED TO BE IN NORTH CONWAY THURSDAY AFTERNOON TO MEET WITH SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS AND MEMBERS OF THE MEDIA.

STRICKLAND – A DEMOCRAT WHO SERVES AS A NATIONAL CO-CHAIR OF THE OBAMA CAMPAIGN – SAYS NEW HAMPSHIRE IS AN IMPORTANT STATE IN THE UPCOMING ELECTION.

HE SAYS OBAMA IS FOCUSED ON GROWING THE ECONOMY WITH A STRONG MIDDLE CLASS AND THEY PRESIDENT HAS PUT FORTH MULTIPLE PROPOSALS TO HELP THE SMALL BUSINESS COMMUNITY.

STRICKLAND IS SCHEDULED TO MEET WITH MIKE KLINE, CO-OWNER OF SOYFIRE CANDLE, AT THE STORE IN NORTH CONWAY AT ONE P.M.

OTHER SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS ARE EXPECTED TO BE THERE AS WELL.

STRICKLAND STARTED HIS DAY WITH STOPS IN LITTLETON AND BERLIN – HE’S SCHEDULED TO VISIT LACONIA LATER THURSDAY BEFORE FINISHING WITH A GRASS ROOTS EVENT IN SALEM.
