Fryeburg Board Considers Cell Tower

by Christian Mower on January 3, 2014

The Fryeburg, Maine Planning Board meets Tuesday Jan. 7, 2014 and Fryeburg Code Enforcement officer Katie Haley says it’s likely the board will make a decision about a proposed cell phone tower in North Fryeburg.

Global Tower Assets and a network affiliate of AT&T – Northeast Wireless Networks – propose building a 190 foot tower with communications equipment on a leased lot at 255 Fish St.

Haley says many abutters and interested parties showed up with concerns about the tower at a public hearing held in Fryeburg in Dec., 2013.

Tuesday’s public meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. At the Fryeburg Town Office.
