FRYEBURG HOSTS WREATH CEREMONY

ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY MEMBERS AND VETERANS WILL BE HONORED IN FRYEBURG, MAINE SATURDAY DEC. 7, 2013 WITH A NOONTIME REMEMBRANCE CEREMONY AT BRADLEY PARK.

COORDINATOR DONNA WOODWARD OF THE FRYEBURG BUSINESS ASSOCIATION SAYS THE EVENT WILL BE HELD IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ANNUAL TRADITION – NOW IN ITS 21ST YEAR – OF WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA, A MAINE BASED NON-PROFIT THAT HONORS THE FALLEN AT ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETERY AND VETERANS AT CEMETERIES IN ALL 50 STATES BY DELIVERING FRESH PINE TREE WREATHS IN DECEMBER TO BE PLACED AT GRAVE SITES.

WOODWARD SAYS A TRUCK THAT’S HEADING TO HARRINGTON, MAINE TO PICK UP A LOAD OF WREATHS WILL BE IN FRYEBURG NEAR THE CEREMONY BEING HELD NEAR THE VETERANS HONOR ROLL AT THE CORNER OF ROUTE 302 AND RIVER ST.

A RECEPTION FOLLOWING THE CEREMONY WILL BE HELD AT THE FRYEBURG FIRE STATION.
