CONWAY POLICE ADVISE DRIVERS IN NORTH CONWAY TO EXPECT SIGNIFICANT TRAFFIC DELAYS AND TO USE ALTERNATE ROUTES LATE SATURDAY MORNING AS THE FUNERAL MOTORCADE FOR NEW HAMPSHIRE FISH AND GAME CONSERVATION OFFICER SGT. BRIAN ABRAMS PROCEEDS FROM FURBER AND WHITE FUNERAL HOME IN NORTH CONWAY VILLAGE TO THE FIRST CHURCH OF CHRIST, CONGREGATIONAL ABOUT A MILE SOUTH ON ROUTE 16.

CONWAY POLICE SGT. GEORGE WALKER SAYS ROUTE 16 WILL BE COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN TO TRAFFIC ABOUT 10:45 A.M. SATURDAY TO ALLOW THE MOTORCADE TO PROCEED TO THE CHURCH AT 2521 WHITE MOUNTAIN HIGHWAY.

THE FUNERAL SERVICE STARTS AT 11 A.M.

WALKERS SAYS DRIVERS SHOULD THEN EXPECT ROUTE 16 TO BE SHUT DOWN AGAIN AFTER THE SERVICE FROM ABOUT NOON TO 12:30 P.M. SATURDAY AS THE MOTORCADE LEAVES THE CHURCH AND PROCEEDS NORTH BACK TO THE FUNERAL HOME.

MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC AND LAW ENFORCEMENT PERSONNEL WHO PLAN TO ATTEND THE FUNERAL ARE ADVISED TO PARK AT CRANMORE MOUNTAIN RESORT, 1 SKIMOBILE ROAD, IN NORTH CONWAY.

SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE WILL BE PROVIDED FROM THE RESORT TO THE CHURCH STARTING AT 9:30 A.M. SATURDAY. AFTER THE SERVICE, BUSES WILL PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION BACK TO CRANMORE, WHERE A RECEPTION WILL BE HELD.
