GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATES TO MAKE CONWAY STOPS TUESDAY

SEVERAL CANDIDATES RUNNING TO SUCCEED NEW HAMPSHIRE GOVERNOR JOHN LYNCH ARE EXPECTED TO MAKE APPEARANCES IN THE CONWAY AREA TUESDAY.

AT THE SAME RESTAURANT IN NORTH CONWAY WHERE DEMOCRAT LYNCH MET WITH SUPPORTERS A FEW YEARS AGO, REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE OVIDE LAMONTAGNE WILL KICK OFF A SERIES OF DISCUSSIONS HE’S HOLDING AROUND THE STATE HE CALLS “CONVERSATIONS ON OUR ECONOMY.”

LAMONTAGNE WILL BE AT THE BLUEBERY MUFFIN OFF ROUTE 16 JUST NORTH OF SETTLERS CORNER AT 11:30 A.M. TO LEAD A PANEL DISCUSSION WITH CONWAY-AREA BUSINESS OWNERS AND EMPLOYEES AND GET THEIR PERSPECTIVE ON NEW HAMPSHIRE’S ECONOMY.

LAMONTAGNE SAYS AS GOVERNOR HIS FOCUS WILL BE ON MAKING NEW HAMPSHIRE THE BEST PLACE IN THE NATION TO DO BUSINESS AND RAISE A FAMILY.

THURSDAY STARTING AT 2 P.M., HE’S SCHEDULED TO TOUR AND HAVE A “MEET AND GREET” AT WHITE MOUNTAIN OIL AND PROPANE IN NORTH CONWAY.

AT 6:30 P.M. LAMONTAGNE WILL ATTEND THE MOUNT WASHINGTON VALLEY REPUBLICAN COMMITTEE MEETING AT THE NEW ENGLAND INN IN INTERVALE.

THE CARROLL COUNTY DEMOCRATS WILL HOST A FORUM OF DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES FOR GOVERNOR THURSDAY NIGHT AT THE SALYARDS CENTER FOR THE ARTS AT 110 MAIN STREET IN CONWAY VILLAGE.

DOORS WILL OPEN AT 6:30 P.M. FOR THE 7 P.M. EVENT AND WRITTEN QUESTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES WILL BE ACCEPTED PRIOR TO THE PROGRAM’S START. ADMISSION IS FREE BUT CONTRIBUTIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED TO SUPPORT THE CARROLL COUNTY DEMOCRATS AND THE STATEWIDE COMMITTEE TO ELECT HOUSE DEMOCRATS.

FORMER STATE REP. ED BUTLER SAYS HE EXPECTS CANDIDATES MAGGIE HASSAN, JACKIE CILLEY AND BILL KENNEDY TO ATTEND.
