GUBERNATORIAL DEBATE AND CHAMBER MEETING ON FOR TUESDAY

ORGANIZERS OF TWO MAJOR EVENTS IN NORTH CONWAY TUESDAY SAY THEY WILL TAKE PLACE AS SCHEDULED.

THE MOUNT WASHINGTON VALLEY ECONOMIC COUNCIL WILL GO AHEAD WITH ITS PLAN TO HOST A NEW HAMPSHIRE GUBERNATORIAL DEBATE BETWEEN DEMOCRAT MAGGIE HASSAN AND HER REPUBLICAN OPPONENT OVIDE LAMONTAGNE AT THE NORTH CONWAY GRAND HOTEL.

THE TWO CANDIDATES ARE VYING FOR THE SEAT BEING VACATED BY GOV. JOHN LYNCH.

THE DEBATE STARTS AT 9 A.M..

IT’S FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC BUT GUESTS WHO HAVE PRE-REGISTERED WILL BE SEATED FIRST. CASH DONATIONS TO DEFRAY THE COST OF THE EVENT WILL BE APPRECIATED.

MOUNT WASHINGTON VALLEY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE EXEC. DIRECTOR JANICE CRAWFORD SAYS THE CHAMBER’S ANNUAL MEETING AND DINNER AT THE RED JACKET MOUNTAIN VIEW RESORT IN NORTH CONWAY WILL START AT 4:30 P.M. AS PLANNED.

CRAWFORD SAYS THE DINNER IS SOLD OUT BUT ANYONE IS WELCOME TO ATTEND THE 4:30 P.M. MEETING.

THE CHAMBER WILL FORMALLY RECOGNIZE THE NEWEST WHITE MOUNTAINS TREASURES DURING THE EVENT.
