Harrison Man Arrested For Burglarizing Fryeburg House Twice

Fryeburg, ME -A Harrison Maine Man was arrested for allegedly burglarizing a Fryeburg home twice. Fryeburg Police allege that 39-year-old Thomas Andrews stole valuable antiques from a residence on Stanley Hill Road in Fryeburg twice within a span of two weeks.

According to Fryeburg Police Chief Joshua Potvin Andrews was identified through surveillance equipment put in place by police and the homeowner after the first break-in. The alleged burglaries occurred during the day when the residence was not occupied.

Andrews was arrested Wednesday and is being charged with two counts of burglary, a class C felony, and two counts of class E theft. Chief Potvin said “I am pleased this case has been resolved and the suspect has been brought to justice. Mr. Andrews has cooperated with our investigation and has taken responsibility for the alleged crimes. We are working on recovering all the property at this time.” Andrews has been released on $160 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in Bridgton Court on June 13th.
