HASSAN CELEBRATES PLYMOUTH CENTER

NEW HAMPSHIRE GOV. MAGGIE HASSAN IS SCHEDULED TO SPEAK TUESDAY EVENING, OCT. 15 2013 AT THE GRAND OPENING OF THE ENTERPRISE CENTER IN PLYMOUTH.

HASSAN SPOKESMAN MARC GOLDBERG SAYS SHE WILL TALK ABOUT HER EFFORTS TO SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TO HELP CREATE JOBS THAT CAN SUPPORT A STRONG MIDDLE CLASS.

THE ENTERPRISE CENTER – A PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN PLYMOUTH STATE UNIVERSITY AND THE GRAFTON COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL – IS A BUSINESS INCUBATOR THAT SUPPORTS ENTREPRENEURS AND SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS.

GOLDBERG SAYS HASSAN HAS FOCUSED ON ATTRACTING AND GROWING INNOVATIVE BUSINESSES TO HELP CREATE JOBS AND STRENGTHEN NEW HAMPSHIRE’S ECONOMY.

HE CITES HER “INNOVATE NH” JOBS PLAN HE SAYS HAS SUCCESSFULLY WORKED TO DOUBLE AND MAKE PERMANENT THE STATE’S RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT TAX CREDIT, PROVIDES BUSINESSES WITH TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO HELP THEM CREATE JOBS – AND HAS STRENGTHENED THE WORKFORCE BY FREEZING IN-STATE TUITION AT NEW HAMPSHIRE’S PUBLIC COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES.

HASSAN IS SCHEDULED TO MAKE HER REMARKS AT 5:45 P.M. AT THE SILVER CENTER FOR THE ARTS ON MAIN ST. IN PLYMOUTH.
