CONWAY POLICE SAY THE NEWEST MEMBER OF THE DEPARTMENT IS A GRADUATE OF KENNETT HIGH SCHOOL.

LT. CHRIS PERLEY SAYS OFFICER RYAN McDONALD SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED A 14-WEEK COMPREHENSIVE STUDY AND CERTIFICATION PROGRAM AT THE NEW HAMPSHIRE POLICE ACADEMY IN CONCORD AND HE HAS BEEN ASSIGNED TO THE PATROL DIVISION IN CONWAY.

McDONALD IS THE SON OF ASST. NORTH CONWAY FIRE CHIEF WAYNE McDONALD AND HEATHER TOWER, BOTH OF THE VALLEY.

RYAN McDONALD GRADUATED FROM KENNETT IN 2009, EARNED AN ASSOCIATE’S DEGREE IN CRIMINAL JUSTICE AT THE NEW HAMPSHIRE TECHNICAL INSTITUTE IN CONCORD – AND THEN A BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN CRIMINAL JUSTICE FROM HUSSON UNIVERSITY IN BANGOR, MAINE.

AT HUSSON, HE RAN CROSS COUNTRY, SERVED AS VICE PRESIDENT OF THE RUNNING CLUB AND WAS A MEMBER OF THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE CLUB.

PERLEY SAYS McDONALD IS THE 8TH GRADUATE OF KENNETT TO JOIN THE CONWAY DEPARTMENT AS A POLICE OFFICER. McDONALD VOLUNTEERS AT THE HIGH SCHOOL AS A POLE VAULT COACH.
