Manchester,NH – A recent Kennett High School graduate was one of 5 awarded a scholarship from the New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters yesterday. At the studios of WMUR-TV in Manchester the NHAB awarded $20,000 worth of scholarships for the 2016-2017 school year.
One of those recipients was our very own Isabella Branham from Conway. The Scholarships go to men and women pursuing careers in over-the-air broadcast while in enrolled in higher education for broadcasting. They are awarded the scholarships based on financial need, academic achievement, and community involvement in addition to other factors.
Isabella, who graduated this spring, interned and works part time at Mount Washington Radio Group in addition to working at outside television on Conway. She will be going on to study Broadcast Journalism at Elon University in the fall.
