LATEST POLL SHOWS ROMNEY FALLING, PAUL AND HUNTSMAN GAINING

THE LATEST SUFFOLK UNIVERSITY/WHDH 7 NEWS POLL SHOWS REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE MITT ROMNEY HAS CONTINUED TO FALL IN OVERNIGHT TRACKING, WITH RICK SANTORUM DROPPING INTO 5TH PLACE AMONG LIKELY VOTERS FOR TUESDAY’S NEW HAMPSHIRE PRIMARY.

GREG GATLIN SAYS RON PAUL IS GAINING ON ROMNEY, WHILE JON HUNTSMAN HAS RALLIED INTO THIRD PLACE.

GATLIN SAYS ROMNEY HAS DROPPED TO 35 PER CENT – A DECLINE OF 8 POINTS SINCE LAST TUESDAY – BUT STILL HOLDS A 15 POINT LEAD. GATLIN SAYS ROMNEY SHOWED WEAKNESS AMONG YOUNGER VOTERS IN THE NORTHWEST REGION OF NEW HAMPSHIRE, WHICH INCLUDES CARROLL AND COOS COUNTIES.

PAUL IS SECOND WITH 20 PER CENT, HUNTSMAN THIRD WITH 11 PERCENT, NEWT GINGRICH FOURTH WITH 9 PERCENT AND SANTORUM 5TH AT 8 PERCENT. RICK PERRY AND BUDDY ROEMER EACH HAD ONE PERCENT WITH 15 PERCENT OF THE VOTERS WHO WERE POLLED WERE UNDECIDED.

THE CALLS TO 500 LIKELY VOTERS WERE MADE BEFORE THE START OF THE REPUBLICAN DEBATE SATURDAY NIGHT. THE MARGIN OF ERROR IS PLUS OR MINUS 4.4 PERCENT.
