LYNCH IN CONWAY THURSDAY; BACHMANN VISITS SUNDAY

NEW HAMPSHIRE GOVERNOR JOHN LYNCH WILL BE IN CONWAY THURSDAY MORNING.

 THE GOVERNOR IS SCHEDULED TO ADDRESS THE MONTHLY BREAKFAST MEETING OF THE MOUNT WASHINGTON VALLEY ECONOMIC COUNCIL.

 THE MEETING IS SCHEDULED TO START AT 8 A.M. AND LAST UNTIL 9:30 A.M. AT THE NORTH CONWAY GRAND HOTEL.

 FOLLOWING HIS TALK IN NORTH CONWAY, THE GOVERNOR IS SCHEDULED TO TRAVEL TO BERLIN FOR A GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY FOR BURGESS BIOPOWER AT 11 A.M.

 LYNCH WAS IN PORTSMOUTH TUESDAY TO UNVEIL THE “WORK READY” PROGRAM – PART OF HIS “NEW HAMPSHIRE WORKING” PLAN. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION FOR UNEMPLOYED WORKERS TO ENSURE THEY HAVE THE NECESSARY SKILLS TO ENTER THE WORKFORCE.

 REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE MICHELE BACHMANN IS COMING TO THE VALLEY AREA SUNDAY. A PRESS RELEASE SAYS HER “TEAM BACHMANN” WILL KICK OFF A BUS TOUR OF NEW HAMPSHIRE AND HOLD A SERIES OF TOWN HALL MEETINGS TO TALK TO GRANITE STATE VOTERS ABOUT THE MOST PRESSING ECONOMIC ISSUES FACING THE COUNTRY.

 BACHMANN IS SCHEDULED TO APPEAR AT THE LOBSTER TRAP RESTAURANT ON WEST SIDE ROAD IN NORTH CONWAY AT NOON SUNDAY. SHE’LL THEN MAKE AN APPEARANCE AT ZEB’S GENERAL STORE ON ROUTE 16 IN NORTH CONWAY AT 2 P.M. BEFORE TRAVELING FOR A LAKES REGION TEA PARTY AT 3:30 P.M. AT THE MOULTONBOROUGH FIRE STATION.
