MADISON POLICE INVESTIGATING ARMED ROBBERY

POLICE ARE LOOKING FOR MULTIPLE SUBJECTS AFTER AN ARMED ROBBERY AT A CONVENIENCE STORE ON ROUTE 113 IN MADISON WEDNESDAY NIGHT.

MADISON POLICE CHIEF JAMIE MULLEN SAYS A HANDGUN WAS DISPLAYED DURING THE INCIDENT AND AN UNDISCLOSED AMOUNT OF CASH WAS TAKEN FROM THE COBBLE POND FARMS STORE.

NO ONE WAS HURT.

MULLEN SAYS HIS DEPARTMENT AND NUMEROUS OTHERS – INCLUDING NEW HAMPSHIRE STATE POLICE, THE CARROLL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE – AND POLICE FROM FREEDOM AND OSSIPEE – RESPONDED TO THE STORE SHORTLY BEFORE 10 P.M.

A K-9 SEARCH TEAM BY OSSIPEE POLICE FAILED TO LOCATE THE SUSPECTS.
