MAINE DOT SAYS PAVING PROJECT BEGINS IN NAPLES

A SPOKESMAN FOR THE MAINE DEPT. OF TRANSPORTATION (MDOT) SAYS DRIVERS SHOULD EXPECT DELAYS UP TO 10 MINUTES LONG IN ONE WAY ALTERNATING TRAFFIC ON ROUTE 302 BECAUSE OF PAVING WORK BEING DONE IN NAPLES, MAINE.

TED TALBOT SAYS PAVEMENT PUT DOWN LAST SEASON DID NOT MEET QUALITY STANDARDS AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED.

GRINDING THE PAVEMENT WILL TAKE PLACE MONDAY MAY 13, 2013 THROUGH WEDNESDAY MAY 15, 2013 FROM THE NAPLES TOWN OFFICE TO THE INTERSECTION OF ROUTE 35.

WEATHER PERMITTING, NEW PAVEMENT WILL BE LAID DOWN THURSDAY AND FRIDAY, WITH SATURDAY AND MONDAY BEING THE ALTERNATE DATES IF THERE’S BAD WEATHER.

WORK WILL TAKE PLACE BETWEEN 7 A.M. AND 7 P.M. EACH DAY.
