NORTH CONWAY’S ANNUAL MAKING STRIDES AGAINST BREAST CANCER WALK IS COMING UP IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS AND THE EVENT ORGANIZER IS URGING TEAM LEADERS TO PULL TOGETHER FRIENDS, FAMILY MEMBERS, CO-WORKERS AND OTHERS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EVENT ON SUNDAY MORNING, OCTOBER 16TH.

KATHY METZ – THE COMMUNITY EXECUTIVE IN THE VALLEY AREA FOR THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY – SAYS A TEAM CAN BE ANY AMOUNT OF PEOPLE.

MAKING STRIDES AGAINST BREAST CANCER IS A NONCOMPETITIVE THREE AND A HALF MILE WALK THAT UNITES THOUSANDS OF WOMEN, MEN AND CHILDREN IN THE COMMUNITY TO HONOR BREAST CANCER SURVIVORS, SAVE LIVES – AND ENSURE MORE BIRTHDAYS ARE CELEBRATED BY HELPING PEOPLE STAY WELL AND GET WELL BY FIGHTING CANCER AND FINDING CURES.

METZ SAYS THE CANCER SOCIETY HAS INVESTED MORE IN BREAST CANCER RESEARCH OVER TIME THAN ANY OTHER VOLUNTARY PUBLIC HEALTH ORGANIZATION.

WMWV 93.5 FM IS A PROUD SPONSOR OF THE EVENT.

WALKERS IN NORTH CONWAY WILL GATHER AND START THE WALK AT THE STAPLES STORE ON ROUTE 16 AND PROCEED AROUND SETTLERS GREEN OUTLET VILLAGE.

FOR MORE INFORMATION OR TO REGISTER, CALL METZ AT (603) 356-3719 OR SEE THE WEBSITE AT www.cancer.org/stridesonline AND SEARCH FOR THE NORTH CONWAY WALK.
