MISSING EFFINGHAM MAN LOCATED IN BOSTON

NEW HAMPSHIRE STATE POLICE SAY A 28-YEAR-OLD MAN WHO WAS MISSING FROM A REHABILITATION CENTER IN EFFINGHAM HAS BEEN FOUND IN MASSACHUSETTS.

TROOPER CLINTON TRUSSELL OF TROOP E IN TAMWORTH SAYS JOSHUA MCDERMOTT – A PATIENT WHO HAD BEEN REPORTED MISSING FROM LAKEVIEW NEURO-REHABILITATION CENTER EARLY SUNDAY MORNING, WAS LOCATED AND TAKEN INTO CUSTODY WITHOUT INCIDENT SHORTLY BEFORE NOON SUNDAY AFTER BOSTON POLICE FOUND THE VEHICLE HE ALLEGEDLY HAD BEEN DRIVING ABANDONED IN THE CITY.

MCDERMOTT ALLEGEDLY TOOK A MAINTENANCE VEHICLE AROUND 1 A.M. SUNDAY AND DROVE IT TO BOSTON.

AN INITIAL SEARCH FOR HIM WAS CONDUCTED BY NEW HAMPSHIRE FISH AND GAME OFFICERS, ASSISTED BY NEW HAMPSHIRE STATE POLICE, EFFINGHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT AND OSSIPEE VALLEY EMS.
