MISSING TEEN’S MOTHER PLEADS FOR RETURN

THE LEAD INVESTIGATOR INTO THE DISAPPEARANCE OF A MISSING NORTH CONWAY TEENAGER SAYS SHE HOPES ABIGAIL HERNANDEZ IS STILL ALIVE AND CAN HEAR HER MOTHER ZENYA’S WORDS.

FLANKED BY ZENYA HERNANDEZ, CONWAY POLICE OFFICERS, NEW HAMPSHIRE STATE POLICE, THE CARROLL COUNTY ATTORNEY, AN FBI SPECIAL AGENT AND OTHER OFFICIALS FRIDAY AFTERNOON, SENIOR ASST. NEW HAMPSHIRE ATTORNEY GENERAL JANE YOUNG SPOKE TO REPORTERS FROM THE PARKING LOT OF THE CONWAY POLICE DEPARTMENT ABOUT ABIGAIL, WHO WAS LAST SEEN LEAVING KENNETT HIGH SCHOOL AT THE END OF THE SCHOOL DAY OCT. 9, 2013.

YOUNG DID NOT OFFER ANY NEW INFORMATION ON THE CASE, BUT SHE SAYS CONWAY POLICE, NEW HAMPSHIRE STATE POLICE AND THE FBI CONTINUE TO FOLLOW UP ALL LEADS AS THEY DILIGENTLY SEARCH FOR ABIGAIL.

YOUNG SAID SHE DOESN’T HAVE A THEORY AS TO WHAT HAPPENED TO ABIGAIL, BUT THE NEWS CONFERENCE WAS BEING HELD PRIOR TO THE THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY SO ANYONE RETURNING TO THE CONWAY AREA MIGHT HEAR ABOUT ABIGAIL’S SITUATION.

ZENYA HERNANDEZ HELD YOUNG’S HAND AS SHE READ AN EMOTIONAL STATEMENT ADDRESSED TO ABIGAIL TELLING HER SHE MISSED AND LOVED HER AND THAT SHE BELONGED HOME WITH HER FAMILY.
