by Gair on October 24, 2012

THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE ANIMAL RESCUE LEAGUE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE NORTH/CONWAY SHELTER SAYS VIRGINIA MOORE HAS BEEN APPOINTED AS EXEC. DIRECTOR OF THE 14-YEAR-OLD NON PROFIT.

MOORE HAS BEEN WITH THE SHELTER SINCE 2006 AND HAS SERVED TWICE AS ITS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR – AND ALSO AS EXEC. DIRECTOR, PRIOR TO THE SHELTER’S MERGER WITH THE ANIMAL RESCUE LEAGUE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE IN BEDFORD.

ANIMAL RESCUE LEAGUE PRESIDENT AND CEO PAULA MATTIS SAYS THE DECISION TO ONCE AGAIN HAVE A DAILY ON-SITE DIRECTOR AT THE CONWAY SHELTER IS THE MOST EFFECTIVE MODEL FOR CONWAY – SHE SAYS MOORE “HAS BEEN THE ‘GO TO’ PERSON FOR HER MANAGEMENT TEAM AND IS THE LOGICAL CHOICE FOR THE POSITION.”

MOORE WILL FOCUS ON LONG RANGE PLANNING, FUNDRAISING AND MANAGEMENT AT THE SHELTER AT 223 EAST MAIN ST. IN CONWAY. FOR MORE INFORMATION, CALL (603) 447-5955 OR SEE THE WEBSITE AT www.conwayshelter.org.
