Morning Show Broadcasts From The Mt. Washington Observatory!

by Roy on May 22, 2011

WMWV’s Morning Show will broadcast from the highest elevation in New England, Tuesday June 14. Roy Prescott will be set up on top of Mount Washington (elev. 6288′) at the Mount Washington Observatory airing from 6-9am on 93.5 FM, WMWV. Gair MacKenzie will be producing the show from our studio at Settlers Green.

Roy will be heading up the Mount Washington Auto Road, Monday night and will enjoy the hospitality of the good folks at the “Obs”. Yes, he made his dinner reservation!

Means of travel up the Mt. Washington Auto Rd. 150 years ago. Fortunately, Roy will be able to drive the WMWV van to the Summit.

Tuesday morning, Roy will be joined by Ryan Knapp, Brian Clark, Mike Finnegan & Cara Rudio and maybe more! They will fill us in on everything that’s happening with the membership driven Observatory. AND…We’ll handle the Obs. report during the Morning Weather Show right from the source!

The last time the Morning Show broadcast from the Summit was Sept. 24, 2004! We’re due for another visit! Cross your fingers & hope the weather is as great as last time!

Sunset Sept 23, 2004. Do you see the "Green Light"?
