MOULTONBOROUGH MAN ARRESTED ICW MEREDITH BURGLARY

POLICE SAY A 24-YEAR-OLD MOULTONBOROUGH MAN IS ONE OF TWO MEN WHO HAS BEEN ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH A CONSIGNMENT SHOP BURGLARY IN MEREDITH.

THE ASSOCIATED PRESS REPORTS POLICE FOLLOWED TWO SETS OF FOOTPRINTS IN THE SNOW THAT LED THEM TO FIND TRAVIS WATSON AND 25-YEAR-OLD RAY PUNTURIERI OF TAMPA, FLORIDA NEAR A POOL AT AN INN.

THE INCIDENT BEGAN EARLY TUESDAY AT THE ET CETERA SHOPPE, WHERE POLICE DISCOVERED THE REAR WINDOW SMASHED FROM THE OUTSIDE – THEY THEN NOTICED THE FOOTPRINTS AND BLOOD DROPS AND FOLLOWED THEM TO THE NEARBY INN AT MILLS FALLS.

THAT’S WHERE THEY LEARNED AN INN WORKER HAD NOTICED TWO MEN AND HAD ASKED THEM WHAT THEY WERE DOING.

WHEN THEY TOLD HER THEY WERE LOOKING FOR A ROOM NUMBER SHE KNEW DID NOT EXIST, SHE REPORTED THE INCIDENT TO HER MANAGER.

POLICE SAY WHEN THEY FOUND THE TWO MEN NEAR THE POOL WATSON’S FINGER WAS BLEEDING.

BOTH MEN WERE EVENTUALLY ARRESTED.

TWO RINGS HAD BEEN TAKEN FROM THE STORE.
