NATIONAL PRESCRIPTION DRUG TAKE BACK DAY SATURDAY

LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES AROUND CARROLL COUNTY AND WESTERN MAINE ARE GETTING READY FOR SATURDAY’S NATIONAL PRESCRIPTION DRUG TAKE BACK DAY.

LOCAL AGENCIES ARE PARTNERING WITH THE DRUG ENFORCEMENT ADMINISTRATION TO PROVIDE A CONVENIENT AND SAFE WAY TO DISPOSE OF UNUSED, UNWANTED OR EXPIRED PRESCRIPTION DRUGS – AND PREVENT THEM FROM BEING USED OR SOLD ILLEGALLY.

MOST COLLECTION POINTS WILL BE OPEN FROM 10 A.M. TO 2 P.M. SATURDAY FOR TURN-IN OF UNWANTED PRESCRIPTION DRUGS.

CONWAY POLICE WILL BE AT THE WALMART AT 46 NORTH SOUTH ROAD. DET.CHRIS MATTEI SAYS THE TURN-IN PROCESS WILL BE ANONYMOUS, WITH NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

JACKSON POLICE DEPARTMENT AT 56 MAIN ST. IN JACKSON.

OSSIPEE POLICE DEPARTMENT AT 7 DORE ST., CENTER OSSIPEE.

MOULTONBOROUGH POLICE DEPARTMENT AT 1035 WHITTIER HWY IN MOULTONBOROUGH.

IN MAINE, THE FRYEBURG POLICE DEPT. AT THE RITE AID PHARMACY AT 119 BRIDGTON RD. AT THE FRYEBURG PLAZA.

BRIDGTON POLICE DEPT. AT THE BRIDGTON COMMUNITY CENTER AT 15 DEPOT STREET IN BRIDGTON.
