NH PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY RESULTS FOR CARROLL COUNTY

CONWAY TOWN CLERK RHODA QUINT SAYS JUST MORE THAN 1,775 VOTERS TURNED OUT IN CONWAY TUESDAY FOR NEW HAMPSHIRE’S PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY. THAT’S ABOUT 29 PERCENT OF THE ROUGHLY 6,000 REGISTERED VOTERS IN CONWAY.

HERE ARE THE UNOFFICIAL RESULTS FOR CONWAY – FOR THE REPUBLICANS, MITT ROMNEY WAS FIRST WITH 528 VOTES, RON PAUL SECOND WITH 389 VOTES, JON HUNTSMAN THIRD WITH 244 VOTES, NEWT GINGRICH FOURTH WITH 151 VOTES, RICK SANTORUM FIFTH WITH 97 VOTES, BUDDY ROEMER SIXTH WITH 13 VOTES AND RICK PERRY SEVENTH WITH 8 VOTES. CONWAY’S RESULTS WERE THE SAME STATEWIDE FOR THE FIRST THREE FINISHERS.

FOR THE DEMOCRATS IN CONWAY, PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA WAS THE OVERWHELMING WINNER WITH 283 VOTES. ED COWAN OF VERMONT FINISHED SECOND WITH 8 VOTES.

FOR REPUBLICANS IN HALES LOCATION, ROMNEY FINISHED FIRST, GINGRICH SECOND, HUNTSMAN AND SANTORUM TIED FOR THIRD AND PAUL WAS FOURTH. FOR THE DEMOCRATS, OBAMA GOT FOUR VOTES.

IN ALBANY, FOR THE REPUBLICANS, THE ORDER OF FINISH WAS ROMNEY, PAUL, GINGRICH, HUNTSMAN, SANTORUM, ROEMER. FOR THE DEMOCRATS, OBAMA WAS FIRST.

FOR REPUBLICANS IN BARTLETT, THE ORDER OF FINISH WAS ROMNEY, HUNTSMAN, PAUL, GINGRICH, SANTORUM, PERRY, ROEMER. FOR THE DEMOCRATS, OBAMA WAS FIRST.

FOR REPUBLICANS IN EATON, THE ORDER WAS ROMNEY, GINGRICH, PAUL, HUNTSMAN, SANTORUM, PERRY, ROEMER. FOR THE DEMOCRATS, OBAMA GOT ALL THE VOTES WITH 23.

FOR REPUBLICANS IN EFFINGHAM, THE ORDER WAS PAUL, ROMNEY, HUNTSMAN, SANTORUM, GINGRICH, A TIE BETWEEN RICK PERRY AND BENJAMIN LINN, ROEMER. FOR THE DEMOCRATS, OBAMA GOT 69 VOTES.

477 VOTERS TURNED OUT IN FREEDOM, JUST MORE THAN 45 PERCENT OF REGISTERED VOTERS, WITH 392 VOTING REPUBLICAN AND 85 DEMOCRATIC. RESULTS FOR REPUBLICANS WERE ROMNEY, PAUL, HUNTSMAN, GINGRICH, SANTORUM, PERRY, ROEMER. FOR DEMOCRATS, OBAMA WAS FIRST.

IN JACKSON, FOR THE REPUBLICANS THE ORDER WAS ROMNEY, HUNTSMAN, PAUL, GINGRICH, SANTORUM AND A TIE FOR PERRY AND ROEMER WITH TWO VOTES EACH. OBAMA WAS FIRST FOR THE DEMOCRATS.

IN MADISON, THE ORDER FOR REPUBLICANS WAS ROMNEY, PAUL, HUNTSMAN, SANTORUM, GINGRICH, PERRY, ROEMER. OBAMA WAS FIRST FOR THE DEMOCRATS.

FOR REPUBLICANS IN MOULTONBOROUGH, ROMNEY WAS FIRST, THEN PAUL, HUNTSMAN, GINGRICH, SANTORUM, PERRY AND ROEMER. OBAMA WAS FIRST FOR THE DEMOCRATS.

FOR THE REPUBLICANS IN OSSIPEE, ROMNEY WAS FIRST, THEN PAUL, GINGRICH, HUNTSMAN, SANTORUM, PERRY AND ROEMER. OBAMA WAS FIRST FOR THE DEMOCRATS.

FOR REPUBLICANS IN TAMWORTH, ROMNEY JUST EDGED PAUL BY TWO VOTES, 156-154, HUNTSMAN WAS THIRD, GINGRICH FOURTH, SANTORUM FIFTH AND PERRY AND ROEMER TIED FOR SIXTH WITH ONE VOTE EACH. OBAMA WAS FIRST FOR THE DEMOCRATS.

FOR REPUBLICANS IN TUFTONBORO, THE ORDER WAS ROMNEY, HUNTSMAN, PAUL, GINGRICH, SANTORUM AND A TIE FOR SIXTH FOR PERRY AND ROEMER, WITH 3 VOTES EACH. OBAMA WAS FIRST FOR THE DEMOCRATS.

AND FOR REPUBLICANS IN WOLFEBORO, WHERE ROMNEY OWNS A HOME, HE GOT THE MOST VOTES WITH 1,066, PAUL WAS SECOND WITH 352, HUNTSMAN THIRD WITH 281, GINGRICH FOURTH WITH 201, SANTORUM FIFTH WITH 111, PERRY WITH 12 AND ROEMER WITH 7. FOR THE DEMOCRATS, OBAMA GOT THE OVERWHELMING NUMBER OF FIRST PLACE VOTES WITH 314.
