NHSP REPORT ARMED ROBBERY AT MADISON RESIDENCE

NEW HAMPSHIRE STATE POLICE ARE RELEASING FEW DETAILS BUT SAY TROOPERS FROM TROOP E IN TAMWORTH RESPONDED TO A REPORT OF AN ARMED ROBBERY EARLY THURSDAY MORNING IN MADISON.

POLICE DECLINE TO IDENTIFY THE LOCATION OF THE PRIVATE RESIDENCE BUT THEY SAY NUMEROUS SUSPECTS ENTERED IT, MADE CONTACT WITH THE OCCUPANTS – AND COMMITTED THE ROBBERY.

STATE POLICE RESPONDED SHORTLY BEFORE 2 A.M. AND WERE ASSISTED AT THE SCENE BY MADISON POLICE AND THE CARROLL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE.

DETECTIVE SGT. JUSTIN ROWE OF TROOP E SAYS THERE’S NO INDICATION OF ANY DANGER TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC BECAUSE THE INCIDENT SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN TARGETED AT THE SPECIFIC RESIDENCE.

HE DECLINES TO IDENTIFY THE VICTIMS BUT URGES ANYONE WHO MAY HAVE INFORMATION ABOUT THE INCIDENT TO CALL HIM AT (603) 323-3333.
