by Christian Mower on October 25, 2013

THERE ARE NO NEW DEVELOPMENTS TO REPORT FRIDAY AS THE SEARCH CONTINUES INTO A THIRD WEEK FOR THE MISSING 15-YEAR-OLD NORTH CONWAY TEENAGER, ABIGAIL HERNANDEZ, WHO WAS LAST SEEN LEAVING KENNETT HIGH SCHOOL OCT. 9, 2013.

THERE HAVE BEEN REPORTS THIS WEEK OF VOLUNTEERS SEARCHING THE WOODS IN NORTH CONWAY, HELICOPTERS FLYING OVER CONWAY AND CADAVER DOGS IN CONWAY – ALL BELIEVED TO BE PART OF THE EFFORT TO FIND ABIGAIL.

THE WHITE MOUNTAIN MILERS, A VALLEY-BASED RUNNING GROUP WHOSE ACTIVITIES ABIGAIL’S SISTER SARAH AND MOTHER ZENYA HAVE PARTICIPATED IN – WILL SPONSOR A VIGIL FOR ABIGAIL IN NORTH CONWAY CONWAY’S SCHOULER PARK SATURDAY NIGHT.

MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC ARE INVITED TO BRING FLASHLIGHTS AND GATHER AT THE BIG TENT AT THE PARK AT 6:30 P.M. SATURDAY FOR SOME INSPIRATIONAL WORDS ABOUT ABIGAIL – FOLLOWED BY A BRIEF WALK THAT WILL SYMBOLIZE LIGHTING THE WAY FOR HER TO COME HOME.

THE VIGIL WILL BE FOLLOWED SUNDAY BY THE MILERS ANNUAL HALF MARATHON.

AUTHORITIES CONTINUE TO REFER TO ABIGAIL’S DISAPPEARANCE AS A “MISSING PERSONS” CASE.

ANYONE WHO HAS SEEN ABIGAIL HERNANDEZ OR KNOWS WHERE SHE IS IS ASKED TO CALL THE TOLL-FREE FBI TIPLINE AT 1-800-CALL-FBI OR CONWAY POLICE AT (603) 356-5715.
