THURSDAY IS THE 236TH BIRTHDAY OF THE UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS AND A NEW HAMPSHIRE BASED NON-PROFIT GROUP THAT WANTS TO HELP MARINES LIVE MORE COMFORTABLY IS LOOKING FOR CONTRACTORS IN THE MOUNT WASHINGTON VALLEY AREA TO JOIN IT.

MATT VAN WAGNER IS THE SPOKESMAN FOR “BUILDING DREAMS FOR MARINES” – A GROUP THAT WILL PROVIDE FREE HOME RENOVATIONS FOR ANY FORMER MARINE IN NEW HAMPSHIRE WHO HAS BEEN HONORABLY DISCHARGED AND HAS LIMITED MOBILITY.

THAT INCLUDES BUILDING RAMPS, REMODELING KITCHENS AND BATHROOMS, WIDENING DOORS AND MAKING CHANGES TO OTHER ROOMS THAT WILL MAKE IT EASIER FOR THE VETERAN TO MOVE AROUND HIS OR HER HOME.

WAN WAGNER SAYS THE FIRST PROJECT WILL START SOON IN SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE. HE’S ASKING ANYONE WHO KNOWS A MARINE WHO CAN USE THE KIND OF HELP HIS GROUP OFFERS – OR ANY CONTRACTOR WHO WOULD LIKE TO CONTRIBUTE BUILDING SKILLS OR MATERIALS – TO SEE THE WEBSITE AT www.buildingdreamsformarines.com.
