THE VALLEY BASED RUNNING CLUB THAT HOSTED A FLASHLIGHT VIGIL FOR THE MISSING 15-YEAR-OLD NORTH CONWAY TEENAGER ABIGAIL HERNANDEZ OCT. 26, 2013 SPONSORED AN ONLINE VIGIL FOR HER THIS WEEKEND.

PAUL KIRSCH – PRESIDENT OF THE WHITE MOUNTAIN MILERS – A GROUP THAT MEMBERS OF ABIGAIL’S FAMILY PARTICIPATES WITH – SAYS THE ONLINE VIGIL WAS HELD SUNDAY NIGHT TO TRY TO SPREAD THE MESSAGE ABOUT ABIGAIL ACROSS NEW ENGLAND AND BEYOND.

PARTICIPANTS WERE ASKED TO POST FOUR MESSAGES ABOUT ABIGAIL – AND USE THE HASHTAG “BRING ABBY HOME” SO THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE CAMPAIGN COULD BE ASSESSED.

KIRSCH SAYS NEARLY 3,200 PEOPLE PARTICIPATED AND SHARED PHOTOS WITH SPECIFIC MESSAGES THAT WERE PROVIDED TO THEM. KIRSCH SAYS THERE WERE TWO GOALS – TO KEEP ABIGAIL’S STORY AND NAME OUT IN THE PUBLIC AND MAKE SURE PEOPLE CONTINUE TO REPORT TIPS ABOUT ANYTHING THEY’VE SEEN OR HEARD RELATED TO HER DISAPPEARANCE.

HE SAYS HE WANTS PEOPLE WHO MAY KNOW SOMETHING TO KNOW IT IS SAFE FOR THEM TO COME FORWARD.

DETAILS OF THE EVENT ARE POSTED AT www.whitemountainmilers.com.

ABIGAIL WAS LAST SEEN LEAVING KENNETT HIGH SCHOOL AT THE END OF THE SCHOOL DAY OCT. 9, 2013.

THE FBI IS OFFERING A REWARD OF UP TO $20,000 FOR INFORMATION LEADING TO ABIGAIL’S RECOVERY – OR INFORMATION, IDENTIFICATION, ARREST AND CONVICTION OF ANY PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR HER DISAPPEARANCE.

ANYONE WITH INFORMATION ABOUT ABIGAIL IS ASKED TO CALL THE TOLL FREE FBI TIPLINE AT 1-800-CALL-FBI OR CONWAY POLICE AT (603) 356-5715.
