Ossipee Man Arrested After Unusual Call In Wolfeboro

Wolfeboro, NH – An Ossipee man was arrested after breaking in to a building and then asking for a job. According to Wolfeboro Police they were called to “The Nick” recreation area Monday at around 6pm for a report of a trespasser.

Once on scene officers spoke to the groundskeeper who told them that 23-year-old Zakk Weir had entered the shop inside the main building, proceeded to eat some of the food inside, and then called asking about a job.

The groundskeeper said he became suspicious of the caller when he noticed the phone number on the caller ID was from the shop. Police said that Weir was verbally confrontational with them and had admitted to entering the shop and eating the food inside. He was subsequently arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass, and Theft.

Weir was transported to the Carroll County Jail and given the court date of June 21, 2017 in the third Circuit Court in Ossipee, NH.
