OSSIPEE MAN CHARGED WITH DWI AFTER ROLLOVER

OSSIPEE POLICE SAY AN OSSIPEE MAN IN HIS EARLY TWENTIES IS CHARGED WITH DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED AND “CONDUCT AFTER AN ACCIDENT” AFTER A ROLLOVER WEDNESDAY NIGHT IN OSSIPEE.

DETECTIVE SGT. BOB KING SAYS AN EYEWITNESS SAID IT APPEARED AN OCCUPANT OF A SMALL TOYOTA PICKUP TRUCK HEADED INTO THE WOODS AFTER THE PICKUP ROLLED OVER ON DORRS CORNER RD. ABOUT 10 P.M.

KING SAYS POLICE USED A K-9 DOG TO FOLLOW A TRACK INTO THE WOODS AND WENT IN AT LEAST A MILE BEFORE CATCHING UP WITH NATHAN LARACUENTI OF OSSIPEE.

LARACUENTI WAS ARRESTED BUT DID NOT APPEAR TO BE INJURED.

HE WAS TAKEN TO HUGGINS HOSPITAL AS A PRECAUTION.
