OXFORD COUNTY (MAINE) REPUBLICANS TO CAUCUS SATURDAY

REPUBLICANS FROM THE OXFORD COUNTY TOWNS OF FRYEBURG, LOVELL, BROWNFIELD, HIRAM AND PORTER WILL CAUCUS SATURDAY MORNING IN FRYEBURG.

LORETTA MIKOLS – THE REPUBLICAN STATE COMMITTEE WOMAN FOR OXFORD COUNTY – SAYS DOORS WILL OPEN AT 9 A.M.AT THE MOLLY OCKETT MIDDLE SCHOOL ON ROUTE 302 FOR REGISTRATION OF VOTERS. THE ACTUAL CAUCUS WILL START AN HOUR LATER AT 10 A.M.

CAUCUS BUSINESS WILL INCLUDE THE ELECTION OF DELEGATES AND ALTERNATES TO THE MAINE STATE REPUBLICAN CONVENTION THAT WILL BE HELD IN AUGUSTA MAY 5TH AND 6TH.

AND VOTERS WILL ALSO CAST A PRESIDENTIAL PREFERENCE BALLOT TO INDICATE THEIR CHOICE FOR THE REPUBLICAN PARTY NOMINEE FOR PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.

VOTING WILL FOLLOW REMARKS BY SEVERAL STATE CANDIDATES AND SPEAKERS FROM NATIONAL CAMPAIGNS.

MIKOLS SAYS IT WAS STANDING ROOM ONLY AT A RECENT CAUCUS IN SOUTH PARIS, MAINE AND SHE EXPECTS A LARGE TURNOUT SATURDAY IN FRYEBURG.

AND SHE SAYS IT’S NOT ALL SERIOUS BUSINESS.

REPUBLICAN CAUCUSES WILL ALSO TAKE PLACE IN DENMARK, MAINE SATURDAY AT 10 A.M. AT THE TOWN OFFICE, DOORS WILL OPEN AT 9 A.M. TO REGISTER VOTERS. AND REPUBLICANS IN NAPLES, MAINE WILL CAUCUS AT 10 A.M. AT THE SINGER COMMUNITY CENTER – THE OLD GRANGE HALL – AT THE VILLAGE GREEN ON ROUTE 302.
