PSNH CHANGES BILL MAILING ADDRESS

by Christian Mower on June 7, 2013

A SPOKESMAN FOR PUBLIC SERVICE COMPANY OF NEW HAMPSHIRE SAYS THE COMPANY RECENTLY CHANGED THE MAILING ADDRESS IT USES TO PROCESS BILLS.

MARTIN MURRAY SAYS THE MAILED BILLS ARE NOW BEING PROCESSED IN TEXAS INSTEAD OF CONNECTICUT – A CHANGE HE SAYS IS PART OF THE COMPANY’S ONGOING EFFORTS TO IMPROVE – AND USE BEST PRACTICES.

MURRAY SAYS MORE THAN HALF OF PSNH’S CUSTOMERS PAY THEIR BILLS ONLINE AND AREN’T AFFECTED BY THE ADDRESS CHANGE – MADE IN MID-MONTH MAY, 2013 – BUT SOME MAILED PAYMENTS EARLY IN THE TRANSITION WERE NOT IMMEDIATELY FORWARDED TO THE NEW ADDRESS FROM A POST OFFICE IN MANCHESTER.

MURRAY SAYS THE PROBLEM IS ISOLATED, HAS BEEN WORKED ON WITH THE POST OFFICE – AND HE DOESN’T ANTICIPATE ADDITIONAL PROBLEMS.

ALTHOUGH THE VAST MAJORITY OF PAYMENTS HAVE BEEN PROPERLY PROCESSED, PSNH CUSTOMERS WHO FIND A PAYMENT THAT HAS NOT BEEN CAN CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE AT 1-800-662-7764.
