A RECOUNT OF VOTES CAST NOV. 6, 2012 FOR STATE REPRESENTATIVES FROM CARROLL COUNTY DISTRICT TWO SHOW A FEW VOTES CHANGING HANDS, BUT THE SAME OUTCOME.

IN RESULTS POSTED ONLINE BY THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE, THE THREE ELECTEES REMAIN DEMOCRAT TOM BUCO, WHO GOT THE MOST VOTES WITH 2,645; REPUBLICAN KAREN UMBERGER, WHO GOT 2,473 VOTES; AND DEMOCRAT SYNDI WHITE, WHO GOT 2,375 VOTES.

INCUMBENT REPUBLICAN FRANK McCARTHY PICKED UP THREE VOTES IN THE RECOUNT, TO FINISH A CLOSE FOURTH – JUST 37 VOTES BEHIND WHITE – AT 2,338 VOTES. DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE DICK POLLOCK GOT 2,314 VOTES AND REPUBLICAN DICK McCLURE 1,905 VOTES.
