Conservation Officers from N.H. Fish and Game were out overnight along with medical personnel from Twin Mountain Fire Department conducting a rescue. William Kirerer 19 of Reading Massachusetts was hiking with two friends over Mt. Adams and Jefferson when he had some medical issues. Medical Personnel and Conservation Officers hiked through the night to reach him. After a on scene medical evaluation was conducted the rescue team was able to assist Kirerer down the Caps Ridge Trail, to his vehicle arriving at 3:00 AM this morning. Environment factors may also have play a role in Kirerer’s condition. The party had hiked through some significant rain storms and Kirerer was cold and wet combined with his other medical issues.
